WILL YOU WIN THE WHISKEY COUNTRY BATTLE AT THORNÆS DISTILLERY?
Join the starting line-up for a whisky country match with great prizes and exclusive snacks the night before Denmark's first Nations League quarter-final against Portugal.
Thornæs Distilleri invites you to a blind tasting where football commentator Thomas Gravgaard presents five whiskies from five of the remaining nations in the tournament. After that, you and the other “players” guess which whiskey comes from which country. There are nice prizes from the distillery for the best of you. Thomas also takes you on a distilled journey through the football history and culture of the respective countries.
Last but not least, the price includes an exclusive sample of the distillery's new cuisine with delicious sliders to pamper the taste buds. The menu is composed by our Argentinian grill-meister and is delivered on the day with tasty subsidies from the kitchen — because you will be the first.
There are only 20 seats for the event on Wednesday 19/3 at 7pm, so hurry up to buy tickets for yourself and any opponents right now.

Whiskey in the Heart of North Zealand
At Thornæs Distilleri we produce Danish Single Malt Whisky using double distillation in small batches. We are a Craft Distillery, which means that we manufacture all our products by hand and continuously adapt raw materials and processes to achieve the best possible result.
The distillery is established in an old horse stable on the farm Falkendal, located in North Zealand close to Gribskov and Solbjerg Engsø. On the farm, organic malt barley is produced according to varieties carefully selected by the distillery and therefore particularly suitable for the production of organic Danish Single Malt Whisky.
At the distillery we also produce a gin called Mad Owl Gin, which is named after the owl that lived in the attic of the distillery at the time we moved in in 2019. Today it's moved out - probably because of all the spectacle we go and do.
In addition to the distillery itself, both a farm shop and a tasting room have been established, where guests can sample the distillery's products and buy some with them. Through a large window, you can follow our work in distilling whisky and gin from the shop.
